If you’re reading this, thank you for being here. No, really, I mean it. I, more than anyone I know (with two toddlers, little sleep and a NYC exhibition to plan) very much understand how time is money. It’s very precious, and if you’re choosing to give a little to learn about me and what I am doing lately, then know, seriously…I appreciate you.

This is the first of what I hope will become many “little letters” from me to you, written from somewhere in between excitement, uncertainty, creative chaos, and an unwavering belief that this exhibition is meant to happen.

Most people are going to experience FLARE when the doors open in September, or through watching on social media…but, my hope is by the time that moment comes, you (and the other few paid subscribers who read) will have already seen some of the artwork, learned the partners involved, conversations had, and big decisions made, and hopefully, have felt the very feeling we (me and my team) have spent months working tirelessly to create.

This is me creating a space where I’m choosing to share this journey openly and honestly. I am in no way polished, AI generated, or curated. I am genuinely authentic, a little awkward, but always funny and kind. I am also super nerding out because, while I am a little nervous, I am equally excited. Through these little letters, I am quite literally taking you inside FLARE (my vision for the inaugural art exhibition).

It is through these little letters I plan to share the moments that never make it onto Instagram, the conversations that shape the exhibition, the artists who move me, the setbacks that teach me something new, and the small victories that remind me why I am doing all of this.

So, just to catch you up a bit, if don’t follow FLARE on Instagram or haven’t been keeping up with the latest, you should know that there has been a lot of expressed interest in this upcoming event. You will not believe how, in just two weeks, my team and I have already managed to:
